Rose City Wellness is committed to transforming maternal and infant health outcomes in our region by providing compassionate, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the newborn period. We serve families of all backgrounds—especially those most impacted by health disparities—with holistic services that center dignity, safety, education, and informed choice. Through clinical excellence, community outreach, and culturally responsive support, we aim to ensure every parent and baby receives the care they deserve.

Heather and the other midwife’s were and are, informational, kind, and EXTREMELY DILIGENT! They’re the only ones in Tyler that take Medicaid and they don’t judge about that. The appoints were always long and very informative. We had a scare and went to the hospital and Heather met us there and stayed for a few hours until she knew that we were ok. Heather believe in my ability to give birth following a complicated cesarean when the doctors told me that my only option was a repeat cesarean at 36 weeks. She supported me as I welcomed my next three children into my own arms and only stepped in when necessary. She was skillfully able to manage birth complications that arose during my second birth with her. I have no doubt that her calm skillfulness minimized any complications that would have occurred had anyone else been my support at the time. Her support has been so far above and beyond anything I could have expected or received otherwise.

📜 Our History

Rose City Wellness began in 2023 with a small group of birth professionals passionate about creating more equitable care. Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted nonprofit offering wraparound services through our consolidated wellness center, Rose City Midwifery, Birth center, Babies Best Beginnings and Whistle Stop Pediatric programs.
