She is patient, compassionate, knowledgeable and made my wife feel like royalty throughout her entire birth. Lauren, Courtney, Robin and the entire team were phenomenal and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. My wife had the most beautiful water birth, and watching her bring our baby girl into the world was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. One moment I will never forget is Heather allowing me to touch our daughter’s head before she was fully born. I felt included in every moment, and that memory will stay with me forever. Courtney was incredible during active labor, providing hands on comfort that relieved my wife’s back pain. She even helped us when our car broke down, going above and beyond what anyone could ever expect. Every person we encountered showed genuine love and compassion. As a family with two moms, feeling accepted, respected and supported meant everything to us. RoseCity embraced our family and made us feel like we belonged. Their care continues after birth through postpartum visits, breastfeeding support, lactation services and helpful programs for new parents. She has a heart of gold, and the way she cares for her patients is something so special that you have to experience it for yourself to understand. She is patient, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable and so informative. She has a way of making you feel loved, appreciated, important and safe all at once. She does not make you feel like just another patient. She makes you feel like family. Lauren, one of her students, was also absolutely phenomenal, and every single person on the team along with Robin went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Courtney the new midwife also doula was also highly appreciated not only with fixing our car because it went down and that’s literally not apart of her job but also during active labor my Wifes back was in so much pain and she provided direct comfort and pressure that relieved it and was just so engaged it felt powerful. You can genuinely feel the love and passion they have for what they do. My wife had the most beautiful water birth, and watching her bring our baby girl into this world was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my entire life. Her delivery was safe and healthy, and we welcomed our beautiful little girl with a full head of hair and all ten fingers and toes. Everything was emotional, overwhelming in the most beautiful way and more perfect than we could have ever imagined. Heather treated my wife like absolute royalty. She listened to her wants and needs, respected her wishes, helped her through the pain, reassured her when things felt overwhelming and constantly reminded her that she was safe, strong and capable. She made sure my wife felt heard, respected, supported and cared for every step of the way. Watching someone care for the woman you love with that much patience and tenderness is something that is difficult to put into words. As her wife, I could not have asked for a more beautiful team to stand beside us during one of the most important moments of our lives. One moment I will carry in my heart forever is when Heather allowed me to touch the top of our baby’s head before she was even fully born. I will never forget that feeling. I was not simply standing on the sidelines watching my wife give birth. I was included in the experience. I was part of bringing our daughter into this world alongside the woman I love. That small but incredibly meaningful moment gave me a memory that no one can ever take away from me. I felt so connected to our daughter before I had even seen her face. I will forever be grateful that Heather and her team helped make the experience surrounding her arrival so beautiful. What makes rosecity even more incredible is that their care does not end when your baby is born. They provide postpartum visits, breastfeeding guidance, access to a lactation specialist and programs/ classes designed to help parents before, during and after birth. As a new parent, I had approximately 20,000 questions, and they have been so patient and informative in helping us find answers. Knowing that we have continued support, resources and people we can turn to means more than they could ever know. As a family with two moms, feeling accepted, respected and supported was incredibly meaningful to us. Rosecity respected our marriage, embraced our family and made us feel like we belonged. We never felt out of place. We were simply two moms preparing to welcome our daughter, surrounded by people who genuinely cared about us. That kind of acceptance and compassion is priceless. Honestly, we already feel like Heather is going to be our daughter’s honorary aunt because that is how deeply she has touched our hearts. Being at a hospital you wouldn't get this experience, I'm not just saying that to discourage you but being honest. Give them the chance to prove themselves to you and your newborn arriving soon. They made my partner feel so respected and appreciated and included with being able catch our babygirl, cut the cord and all. Most hospitals wont provide the space and comfort that you feel here, they abide by all that you want and say. We got to be at a home away from home, truly. I loved my first birth with them (my 4th baby and 3rd VBAC) and my prenatal care so much that I came back and she helped deliver my 5th baby and 4th VBAC. Again, a problem arose and everyone was so calm. My baby ended needing to transfer care to the NICU and Heather was there throughout the whole process and checking in to see how we were both doing. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe, supported, and truly cared for. The space was calm and welcoming—but it was Heather and her team who made the experience unforgettable. They guided me through pregnancy, labor, and birth with such grace and compassion, always making sure I felt heard and respected. I never felt rushed or alone. What meant the most was how they supported my partner, too. They included him in every step, giving him the confidence and tools to be an amazing support person. Heather, her midwife, Robbin, the lactation nurse, and Courtney , the sonagrapher, have all taken such good care of her. She had a few scares in her early pregnancy, and I asked her if she felt like she needed to go to a conventional OBGYN, and without hesitation, she said, "Absolutely not." I understand now, why. The one on One care she gets, is amazing.My wife and I had one of our children here and it was the best birth experience we have had! Heather and the other midwife’s were and are, informational, kind, and EXTREMELY DILIGENT! They’re the only ones in Tyler that take Medicaid and they don’t judge about that. They truly love the beauty of birth and I highly recommend them!My wife became their patient at 25 weeks and we couldn't have made a better decision for her prenatal care. The appoints were always long and very informative. We had a scare and went to the hospital and Heather met us there and stayed for a few hours until she knew that we were ok. The birth went very smooth and was very homie and welcoming. We will be back there for all future babies!Couldn't have asked for a better experience as a first time mom! From the office visits and always being heard to the wonderful women that work here.
