Rose City Wellness is bringing prenatal, postpartum, and lactation care to Quitman. Families north of Tyler should not have to drive so far for every visit.

We partner with Beverly Hargrove of Whistle Stop Pediatrics. On clinic days we see patients at 330 East Goode, Suite F, Quitman, TX, on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, 10:00am. 6:00pm.

If you live in Quitman, Mineola, Winnsboro, or another Wood County community and need pregnancy care, a postpartum check-in, or breastfeeding help, you can see us here.

Rose City Wellness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Tyler. We are expanding into communities where maternity care is hard to reach. On our clinic Saturdays, our team has Suite F for maternal and lactation care. Whistle Stop Pediatrics sees patients on other days at the same address.

Why we opened in Quitman

Much of Northeast Texas, north of Tyler and east toward Texarkana, has little or no local obstetric care or maternity hospital. Long drives make it harder to keep prenatal and postpartum appointments. Quitman puts care closer for Wood County families who have been traveling too far for too long.

We partner with Beverly Hargrove of Whistle Stop Pediatrics and share the building. Rose City Wellness provides prenatal, postpartum, lactation, and education services on our clinic Saturdays. Pediatric visits with Whistle Stop are on their own schedule.

Can I get full midwifery and birth center care in Quitman?
Quitman days focus on prenatal care, postpartum care, lactation support, and classes. Birth and expanded services are available at our Tyler location. Ask us what fits your pregnancy plan.

Do you take Medicaid?
We accept Superior Medicaid at the Quitman clinic, along with Cigna, Curative, and Aetna. Sliding-scale cash is available.

How do I sign up for Rooted or childbirth classes in Quitman?
Call 903-803-2229 or use the website calendar and ask for Quitman class seats. When classes are offered in Quitman, they align with clinic Saturdays.
